Hello D4!!! Hahaha, woooo! I'm not Clare this time, I'm ELYSIAAAAAA! Hahaha. How's everybody! :) Anyway, I'm here to blog partly because Tock asked me to. Hahaha and the other part is because I've got something exciting to share with you all about what just happened in my life today! -------- For the past few weeks, I had been feeling really broke because I do not get my daily allowance during the holidays! There's so many things I have been wanting to buy (things like presents for friends, christmas presents, stuff I like..) but I couldn't because I really have not enough money. And weeks ago, I signed up for School of Worship (Vocals)! I was initially thinking of how I was going to get the signup fee of $40 if I got in to SOW, but I decided to just have faith and sign up for it, and I kept believing that I will get the 40$ no matter what, even if I were to go to my last resort, to "borrow" money from my atm card (I'm not supposed to touch the money in my bank without my parents' permission).. Hahaha! And today, I just got informed that I got in to SOW Vocals, together with Augustine, Yangqin and also Joanna(D3)! Yay!!! So when I reached home, I went to count all the money that I saved up for the past few weeks, and in total there was only about 20$ in it. But somehow, I still did not really worry about the money because I was still having faith that I WILL get the 40$ . And suddenly, SUDDENLY I remembered about a long-forgotten mini drawer where I hid some of my angpow money inside in January. I really forgot about me putting money in the drawer for almost the whole year already! So I immediately opened the drawer, and guess what!! I found a $50 note in a red packet! I was filled with joy at that moment because I could pay for joining SOW Vocals, and even for my HOGC privilege card! And not only that, my grandmother also just gave me $10! Which means, I'm still left with 30$ TO SPEND on my own! (plus the money I'm going to save up over the next few weeks) I really have MUCH MORE THAN what I had previously, now!!! I was only hoping to get 40$ with no extras, but what I got was 50$ with an extra of 30$! WHOAAA. Thank God, for blessing me financially! I know that this isn't done by my own strength or might, but by God's Spirit! :D Yeahhh! God is truly indeed amazingly amazing! And I can never say that He isn't real, because He is just so real in my life! Yeah, so let's all keep having faith in Him despite the toughest times. As you have faith, I believe things are going to move in the physical and spiritual realm! :) FAITH And also, I feel that this holiday's a really good time for us to grow in God! (: As you have a little bit of time every day/night, why not give that bit of time to God, spend time getting to know Him in a closer way by worshipping Him, praying and reading your Bibles to know the word of God! Let's grow together as a CEG, love God, love people, and love life more and more each day! :D Elysia(:   |
